N/Core announces funding for Indian non-profit start-ups in land, housing and mapping solutions

India: N/CORE, a non-profit organisation that empowers non-profit ideas, founders and start-ups in India to solve problems affecting the economically disadvantaged and vulnerable groups, is now accepting applications for their incubator.

N/CORE in partnership with Omidyar Network will incubate up to five non-profits that solve problems related to land and housing including land security, urban informal settlements, financial inclusion & affordable housing, legal awareness & aid, womenโ€™s right to land & inheritance, land data & records, survey & mapping solutions.

Non-profit start-ups that are up to 3 years old or older non-profits with a new initiative can apply. Selected non-profit start-ups will receive a grant of INR 10 lakhs (approx. USD 14,000), dedicated mentoring by N/Core Partners and would also get access to N/Coreโ€™s network of sector stalwarts, alumni and CSR Council.
