Multiple geospatial events to co-locate in Denver in 2021

AEC Next,ย SPAR 3D Expo and Conference,ย International Lidar Mapping Forum (ILMF)ย andย Geo Weekย recently announced the dates and location of their next in-person event.ย According to a Lidar News report, the events will be held together at the Colorado Convention Center and Hyatt Regencyin Denver, CO, from March 30 โ€“ April 1, 2021.

Co-location partner events such as USIBD Annual Symposium, WIPFLIโ€™s Building Tomorrow Together Summit, and the ASPRS Annual Conference, along with content from BD+Cโ€™s Women in Design and Construction program will also be included in the 2021 events in Denver.

Event Director Christine Salmon, commented that theyโ€™re looking forward to bringing these events to the city of Denver, which so many transformational top tech and AEC companies call home. She also added that Denver is a hub of tech innovation and theyโ€™re excited to co-locate and partner with Geo Week to strengthen the learning opportunities for all involved.

The global event producer Diversified Communications whichย organizes SPAR 3D Expo & Conference, AEC Next Technology Expo & Conference, ILMF and Geo Week has always had crossover exhibitors and attendees. Diversified Communications said that they are pleased to be able to deliver on the customer’s request to bring these events together.

Lisa Murray, Group Director, Diversified Communications, stated that although they were disappointed not to be able to hold an in-person event in 2020, theyโ€™re excited about the additional value the co-location will have for everyone. Exhibitors who will have access to additional categories of users, and attendees who will be able to access additional technology on the combined exhibit floor. She believes this will inevitably translate to more new potential customers at their event in Denver in 2021.

Educational webinars, product showcases, and discussion panels will be included in the virtual ILMF, AEC Next, and SPAR 3D 2020 event. The change was necessitated by the ongoing health and safety issues stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
