Singapore, 11 January 2007 – MapInfo Corporation, provider of location intelligence solutions, announced the appointment of Ben Rippingale as Sales Director for South East Asia. He moves into the position of South East Asia Sales Director from his previous role as Account Manager with MapInfo’s Australia Commercial Solutions Group.
Rippingale brings with him extensive experience in location intelligence across many industries. He will focus on developing strategies to drive business growth across South East Asia both directly and through MapInfo’s channel partners.
MapInfo has also announced that it has upgraded its Singapore Representative Office to a Branch office. The upgrade in office status would enable the MapInfo Singapore-based team to provide an extensive range of services to the Singapore market including project management, custom development, consulting services and certified training.
