July 31,2002-MapInfo Corporation has announced a global partnership with Intrado Inc. that will allow wireless carriers in North America and Europe to target new revenue opportunities by bringing to market a broad range of cost-effective, customized, location services for the mobile Internet. Leveraging their expertise in location-based solutions, services and hosting capabilities, the companies will combine the strengths of MapInfo’s miAware platform, the premier location-based services solution, with Intrado’s location technologies and services.
