Location Based Technologies inks deal with EE

US: Location Based Technologies signed an agreement with EE which will allow the companies to begin working together to trial sales of PocketFinder GPS products in the United Kingdom. EE is the largest telecommunications company in the UK and was created as a joint venture between Orange Telecom and T-Mobile.

LBT is expected to deliver trial PocketFinder devices to EE within 30 days and the devices will be sold in EE’s stores through the holidays. Under the terms of the agreement, this initial run of devices could be a pre-cursor to a larger and more involved relationship between the two companies.

“Our relationship with EE represents an extraordinary opportunity for our company,” said Location Based Technologies CEO, Dave Morse. “This year, we stated our desire to enter the European marketplace and this is the type of relationship we have been looking for. EE is yet another elite organization has selected LBT as their partner because of our world class location solutions. We are proud to be working with EE.”
