Heerbrugg, Switzerland: Leica Geosystems announced that Dr. Jürgen Dold will be the new President and CEO of Leica Geosystems AG from 1 April 2010. Dold has been with the company since 1995. During his career at Leica Geosystems, Dold has been product manager and general manager for several business areas of the meterology and surveying divisions. In 2008, he was appointed president of the geospatial solutions division.
Prior to joining Leica Geosystems, Dold acted as an academic council and a lecturer at the Technical University of Braunschweig (Germany). He holds a degree in surveying from the University of Bonn (Germany) and received his doctor’s degree from the University of Munich, Germany.
