U.K. based company Laser-Scan has announced that they have acquired Sysdeco. Sysdeco is based in Norway, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Sysdeco has been a contractor for the supply of integrated digital mapping and GIS systems.
Previous to the acquisition, Sysdeco and Laser-Scan were close business partners working in the National Mapping Agency vertical markets using Laser-Scan’s Oracle based Radius Programme as a means of delivering interoperability.
The acquisition strengthens Laser-Scan’s presence in the National Mapping Agency market. Both Laser-Scan and Sysdeco have been operating in the advanced geospatial processing environment for over 25 years.
