< 1 Minute Read

Pristina, Kosovo: Leica Geosystems and the Kosovo Cadastral Agency (KCA) signed a contract for the supply and installation of eight reference stations for the establishment of a Continuous Operating Reference Network in Kosovo (KOPOS) after Leica Geosystems AG won the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedure financed by the World Bank.

The KOPOS network will consist of eight GNSS Reference Stations and a control and computation centre in Pristina. “Sustainability is the main focus of the Kosovo Cadastral Agency, thus operations, support and services are of major importance,” explained Mr. Murat Meha, CEO of the KCA, who signed the contract with Sepp Englberger, Regional Director of Leica Geosystems.

Kosovo was the last remaining white spot on the map of the National Reference Network Services in Europe.
