KHEOPS technologies has signed a partnership agreement with the Information Systems and Management Quantitative Methods (SIMQG) department from the University of Sherbrooke. For this purpose, JMap will be installed and used at the geobusiness laboratory. This brand new laboratory will comprise many advanced technologies making it possible to explore various new opportunities to implement geospatial information technologies (IT).
The goal will be to try to improve the current methods in business management by adding functionalities of visualization and geographical analysis. In this event, among the various domains where new geospatial IT will be explored, such as JMap 2.1, there will be:

- GeoMarketingq Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- E-Commerce and E-Business
- Wireless Geomatics technologies
- Supply Chain Management
- Entreprise Resource Planning (ERP)
