Hyderabad (India), February 10, 2015: At the recently concluded India Geospatial Forum, the India Geospatial Awards was organised to recognise and encourage innovations and excellence brought forward by geospatial technology developers, professionals, end users and policy makers that have fostered the geospatial industry in India.
The India Geospatial Excellence Awards for Effectively Implementing Policies was awarded to Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology and Department of Science and Technology, Government of India for establishing a citizen centric Karnataka State Spatial Data Infrastructure portal and effectively disseminating geospatial information to all users.
