China: International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE) has recently announced that the current president of (ISDE), Prof. John Richards, has resigned from his post for personal reasons. Based on his nomination and wish of ISDE Secretariat for a limited time, Prof. Dr. Milan Konecny has accepted the position of Acting President. “One of my goals is to develop cooperation with all affiliated organizations working with spatial data. Therefore, I also inform of the change and offer you the strengthening of our cooperation,” said Konecny.
