Israel: The 66th annual International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2015 is going to take place in Jerusalem on October 12-16th. The event, which serves as the premier international event where members of the space industry, agencies, and academia come under one roof, will be hosted by the Israel Space Agency.
About 40 heads of space agencies and astronauts will be amongst the distinguished participants at IAC 2015. The conference will include over 2,000 professional lectures and poster presentations and a variety of plenary and panel sessions highlight lectures that are aimed at both the professional community and the general public. According to Danny Danon, Minister of Science, Technology and Space, the annual event serves as a backdrop for the global space sector allowing governmental, academia and private industry leaders to envision, implement and complete collaborative projects for the betterment of science and humanity
