Integrated Cadastral Information Society receives award for Data Sharing Partnership

The Integrated Cadastral Information Society (ICIS) has been presented with an Award of Excellence at ESRI Canada’s annual ESRI Regional User Conference in Victoria. Alex Miller, President, ESRI Canada,presented the Award in recognition of ICIS’s innovative application of Spatial Data Modeling in a Geodatabase. More than 200 GIS professionals were on hand for the presentation, which was one of the highlights of the conference.

ICIS is a partnership between the Province of British Columbia, local
governments, provincial agencies, and utility companies to establish,
maintain, and distribute a province-wide database consisting of integrated parcel fabric and related parcel links.
