Innovations Fair to kickoff World Bank 2016 Land Conference

Annual World Bank Conference on Land and PovertyUS: Washington D.C. is gearing up for the 17th Annual World Bank Conference on Land and Poverty, slated to be held from March 14 -18, 2016 at the World Bank Headquarters. With a theme of ‘Scaling up Responsible Land Governance’, the conference will pay special attention to working at scale, mainstreaming innovations, and sustaining investments for greater impact. This is why the conference will kick off with the 2016 Innovations Fair. The fair will provide organizations an opportunity to showcase their products in a show-and-tell format to a range of participants. The attendees would include governments, civil society organizations, academia, and the private sector, seeking solutions to the land challenges of the post-2015 Development Agenda. The range of topics which would be covered include land and geographic information systems, aerial imagery, online services and e-governance, land surveying, data security, and systems interoperability.

When: The Innovation Fair will be held all of Monday, March 14th and half of Tuesday, March 15th.

Fee: The participation fee of $500 (reduced to $250 for OGC members) includes the fee to exhibit at the conference for two representatives, one 5” draped table with a banner of the logo of your organization, Wi-Fi Internet access, and power.
