< 1 Minute Read

India: As a part of the Digital India initiative, the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) will use geospatial data to monitor the progress of the ambitious Water Grid Program in the State of Telangana. The water project aims to provide piped water through a stretch of 1.26 lakh kilometer long pipeline in the state. NRSC Director Dr V K Dadhwal says that using geospatial data to map how water reaches each village will not only maintain transparency, but also quicken the process. The NRSC is a central organization under the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
