Geospatial Intelligence (GeoInt) involves the amalgamation of all types of intelligence, like location intelligence, imagery intelligence, communications intelligence, signal intelligence and human intelligence. Geospatial technology is also vital for facilitating multi-source information sharing and integration across agencies and organisations by providing a common framework upon which other information is based. The conference will bring together luminaries from the defence and the internal security sectors to deliberate upon and demonstrate the critical role of geospatial technology in national security.

Lt Gen AKSChandele, (Retd), Managing Editor-GeoIntelligence and Advisor Conferences, Geospatial Media, said, “The importance of geointelligence in modern warfare cannot be over emphasised. It is a battle winning factor."

The conference will be held on June 12-13, 2014, at JW Marriott, Aerocity, New Delhi. The conference will also feature alongside a state-of-the-art exhibition where leading technology companies will showcase their cutting edge geospatial solutions for defence and internal security.
