Russia: In a joint statement, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that Russia and India intend to cooperate in the production of satellite navigation equipments and to provide services to civilian users of the Glonass system.
“The sides expressed mutual interest in the use of Russia’s global satellite navigation system Glonass and intend to promote cooperation in this area, including joint production of satellite navigation equipment and services to civilian users,” the statement added.
