India: The Department of Space/Indian Space Research Organization (DOS/ISRO) and Kuwait Institute of Scientific Research (KISR) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a joint activity in the application of space technology for the benefit of humanity. An official statement said that the agreement will allow the KISR to use data from Indian remote sensing satellites for research and application projects, training, building and launching remote sensing and communication satellites on commercial terms.
Moreover, the MoU will provide momentum to explore newer research activities and application possibilities in the field of remote sensing of the earth; satellite communication; satellite navigation; space science and exploration of outer space.
