GeoTec, the 22nd conference and exhibition for geospatial technology professionals, is Canada’s largest and most encompassing industry event and is scheduled to take place next week, June 2-5, 2008.
Douglas Cummings’ presentation titled “Improving Cross-Platform Functionality for Asset Managers,” is scheduled Thursday, June 5, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. During the session, attendees will be introduced to the cross platform technology of Autodesk and ESRI products in a common format without import and export.
Douglas Cummings has been a geospatial and civil applications specialist with IMAGINiT Technologies for 8 years, concentrating on training, implementing, and supporting firms throughout North America on multiple GIS systems. Prior to that he worked for a private civil engineering firm in the Buffalo, NY area as a project manager, surveyor, and GIS technician.
