Housing Board in India to monitor projects with help of GIS

Raipur, India: Chhattisgarh Housing Board has planned to use GIS to monitor its ongoing housing projects.

The board will use GIS to monitor all the housing projects across the state. It also aims at digitising the layouts of all the colonies for better estate management. The Board is also planning to use satellite imagery for this purpose. The main aim of the board is to identify people who have not commenced construction on the land allotted to them.
