US: Hexagon Geospatial has announced Smart M.Apps, which can be best described as light-weight applications, designed to combine data, workflows, and analytics. The company is positive that these creatively designed maps can solve distinct business problems. According to Mladen Stojic, who is the President of Hexagon Geospatial, “The future lies in the ability to build and deploy highly customisable apps that provide true operational and business value. Hexagon Smart M.Apps is our way of providing a better experience.” The company has also announced content sharing programmes with Airbus Defence and Space, and BlackSky Global. The business partner network will help to integrate current satellite imagery and earth observation data with Smart M.Apps. The official launch will come later this year.
