China: Mark Reichardt, president, Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), and Barbara Ryan, Secretariat Director, Intergovernmental Group on Earth Observations (GEO), will deliver two of the keynote addresses at the upcoming GSDI 15 World Conference.
The conference aims to bring together speakers and participants, to explore the challenges and innovations related to increasing access to and use of geospatial data. The conference will showcase strategies, policies, and best-practices that are driving collaboration and interoperability with respect to data collection and acquisition, integration, discovery, visualization, and analysis.
The GSDI 15 is being held in Taipei, Taiwan (Republic of China) from 28 November to 2 December 2016, hosted by the Taiwan Association of Disaster Prevention Industry (TADPI), with support from Ministry of the Interior. The theme of the conference is “Spatial Enablement in the Smart Homeland”.
