ย US: After being withdrawn by GoPro in November 2016, the company has announced to re-launch its Karma drone this year. The company has announced to showcase the re-launched drone at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017, in Las Vegas.
The drone was withdrawn from market last year after a small number of instances of power loss due to a mechanical issue related to securing the drone‘s battery.
The drone comes with a Karma Grip, a handheld and wearable camera stabilizer that comes at $299 makes easy for users to capture zero-shake, Hollywood-smooth videos. Karma Grip can be handheld or body-worn using GoPro’s Seeker backpack, chest harness, and more.
GoPro is completing its testing, and in early February, will provide more detail for the global relaunch of Karma in 2017. The UAV comes with an in- built No-Fly Zones feature that keeps you off from flying into restricted areas. If you need to bring Karma back, simply hit the Land button and the drone will automatically return to you.
Karma folds into its own lightweight, compact case thatโs comfortable to wear during any activity. Pack it, take it, and when youโre ready to fly, unfold, attach the propellers and go.
