About 25 private players, including companies like Larsen and Toubro, Bharti Airtel, Pixxel, Agnikul Cosmos, Skyroot Aerospace and others, have formed an exclusive Space industry advocacy group โ Indian Space Association (ISpA) โ to voice their expectations from the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe), which is a sectoral regulator for private players.
These organizations attended a virtual meeting with the Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), K Sivan, and briefed him about their activities and sought suggestions.
Sivan also appreciated the formation of the advocacy group and suggested startups and industry players to join the ISpA and benefit from the platform to enhance the evolving landscape of Space activities in the country.
