The Geospatial World Forum 2024, scheduled to be held in Rotterdam from May 13-16, 2024, is delighted to announce RIEGL as a Co-Sponsor.

RIEGL, a pioneering technology provider specializing in airborne, mobile, terrestrial, industrial, and UAV-based laser scanning solutions for applications in surveying, has been at the forefront of LiDAR system production for over four decades. By utilizing pulsed time-of-flight laser radar technology across multiple wavelengths, RIEGL has consistently demonstrated expertise in the field and positioned RIEGL as a platform for continuing โ€œInnovation in 3Dโ€, which perhaps offers a wide array of performance characteristics.

In its commitment to enhancing geospatial capabilities and promoting collaborative efforts, RIEGL, in its role as a Co-Sponsor, aims to facilitate the convergence of expertise and insights at the Geospatial World Forum. RIEGL will be prominently positioned at Booth No. 12 to showcase its innovative products for applications in surveying, e.g., the RIEGL VZ-600i 3D Terrestrial Laser Scanner, the RIEGL VQ-1260 Waveform Processing Airborne LiDAR Scanning System for High Point Density Mapping and Ultra-Wide Area Mapping, the extremely compact Single Scanner Mobile Mapping SystemVMY-1, and a broad range of UAV LiDAR Sensors. This presence highlights RIEGL’s commitment to contributing to the progress of the Geospatial Industry and providing a platform for collaborative engagement.

โ€œThis sponsorship aims to deliver high-quality solutions, enhance productive workflows, and facilitate information exchange, ultimately creating value for a diverse and global customer base.” said Annu Negi, Senior Vice-President, Geospatial World.

โ€œWe are happy to support the goals of Geospatial World and the conference in Rotterdam as a co-sponsor. In times of ever-increasing digitalization, highly accurate and highly reliable basic data is the basic prerequisite for a wide range of applications. RIEGL’s Ultimate LiDAR Technology provides this basic data, whether for transportation infrastructure mapping, road surface measurements, city modelling, open-cast mine surveying, GIS mapping, asset management, rail track mapping, clearance surveying and many more.โ€ said Markus Handl, RIEGL International Partner Management, who looks forward to meeting with the international geospatial community in Rotterdam.
