Bethesda, MD, USA– Spatial Insights is offering the newest release of MPSI’s TrafficMetrix, the extensive and current traffic count data for the U.S. The Version 9.0 contains 1,209,365 traffic count locations with 26,301 data points newly added or updated for this release. Over 66% of the total counts are dated Year 2000 or more recent. The geographies updated in this release are Anderson, IN, Raleigh-Cary, NC, and the Texas counties of Abilene, Lubbock, Midland, and Odessa. Additionally, Department of Transportation updates for the state of Wisconsin have been incorporated. MPSI is a provider of marketplace data, modeling tools and analytical solutions to customers in different retail sectors.
MPSI compiles TrafficMetrix from the hundreds of municipalities that measure traffic volume. The collected data are then standardised, geocoded, and aligned to the street networks for easy use within GIS software. TrafficMetrix is readily available in most GIS formats.
Spatial Insights also offers other MPSI data products for GIS use: TrafficMetrix International, traffic count data for select countries worldwide, and StreetMetrix, nationwide streets optionally bundled with TrafficMetrix.
