France: The leading global consulting firm, Euroconsult, specialising in space markets, announced recipients of its 12th annual awards for Excellence in Satellite Communications, on the occasion of World Satellite Business Week. The Global Satellite Operator of the Year award went to SES. The Strategic Transaction of the Year award was bagged by EMC. RSCC was the winner of the Regional FSS Operator of the Year. And the award for Newcomer Satellite Operator of the Year was picked up by ARSAT. Winners were chosen by a panel of industry experts like Euroconsult, SpaceNews, and SatelliteFinance. "These actors, through their innovation, strategic leadership and performance have all had an exemplary impact on the satellite industry over the past year," said Pacôme Révillon, CEO of Euroconsult. "Euroconsult and our fellow jurists find it to be very gratifying to be able to honor their achievements during the World Satellite Business Week,” added Revillon.
