Germany: The Earth Observation portal (EOP) of EUMETSAT is offering simplified registration for EUMETSAT data access services, a more user-friendly look and feel.
According to the new update, any new user can create an account on EOP and they will get the automatic access to the EUMETSAT Data Centre they can search and place orders for historical and long-term archive data.
Users will also be automatically registered to the Online Data Access (ODA) for Copernicus Sentinel-3 marine data. Existing EOP users will be granted automatic access to the EUMETSAT Data Centre and to the ODA and no additional subscription will be required for these two services.
If anyone wants to receive data in near real-time, then they can subscribe to EUMETCASt, which is the multi-service dISSemination system that is delivering data from the Meteosat, Metop, Jason and Copernicus Sentinel-3 Satellites, and a wide range of third party products.
