Bahrain: Director of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at the Central Informatics Organisation (CIO), Bahrain, Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al Haidan, has been selected among the top four global leaders in GIS by the ESRI.
Dr. Abdulrahman was honoured on the sidelines of the Esri’s 31st general conference, held in San Diego, USA. About the award, Dr. Haidan said that the Executive Leadership Award is an honour for the Kingdom and its wise government, lauding the incessant support of the Interior Minister Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and CIO President Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Amer.
