US: Engineering Services Network (ESN) has won a contract to provide C4ISR technical support for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SPAWAR), US. The award was made by VT Milcom. “ESN will provide technical services to support the Enterprise Pier Connectivity Architecture (EPCA) 2.0 Implementation at Naval Computer and Telecommunication Area Master Station (NCTAMS) Atlantic (LANT) in Rota, Spain, and at the Naval Computer and Telecommunication Station in (NCTS) Naples, Italy,” said Paul Barber, Senior VP of ESN's Maritime Division.
"This award demonstrates ESN's success and long-term commitment to supporting SPAWAR, the Navy and our team members. This is an important mission that ESN is proud to be a part of,” said Raymond F Lopez Jr, ESN President and CEO. The work is being performed on the Sea Enterprise C4ISR Support contract, which is a Multiple Award Contract (MAC). "Through a competitive, awards-based programme, Milcom and ESN had to compete to win the task order. SPAWAR provides the hardware and software needed to execute Navy missions. According to its website, we support the full lifecycle of product and service delivery from the initial research and development, to acquisition and deployment, to operations and logistics support,” said Barber. SPAWAR is the Department of the Navy's systems command that delivers C4I, network, business IT and space capabilities.
