Tennessee, USA, 16 April 2007: Smart Data Strategies (SDS) announced on April 16 that Cape Girardeau County, Missouri has selected Smart Data Strategies’ eMapsPlus GIS data hosting service to provide online access to maps and property data. eMapsPlus serves as a Geo portal for over 70 counties across the US allowing users to navigate the map, identify parcels, perform various search functions as well as reporting and creating labels.
As a part of the eMapsPlus service, SDS will also handle all data distribution requests for the county. Currently, www.eMapsPlus.com receiving over 1.5 million hits per week.Cape Girardeau County, located along the banks of the Mississippi River in Southeast Missouri, is also using Smart Data Strategies DREAMaps suite of land records management tools for document management, parcel editing in a geodatabase environment, and assessment analysis.
