New Delhi, India, 4 October 2006 – Eicher Goodearth Ltd, a part of Eicher Group today launched revised and updated Eicher City Map – Delhi. The 262-page map book is priced at Rs. 290/- only (US$ 6).
It not only covers the capital city of Delhi but also the fast developing neighbourhoods of NOIDA, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. It contains ‘Key to map pages’ for easy reference to locations of areas within the map pages. It also has a pull out ‘Route Planner’ to help navigate longer distances within the city. The book follows international standards of mapping and consists of 191 detailed map pages.
The book has a detailed index for fast and easy location. The detailed index covers over 15,000 names of roads, colonies, buildings, hospitals and other points of interest. The index is a combination of alphabetical listing and categorization for ease of use.
The whole map book follows a constant grid across the map pages, key to map pages, route planner and index. This makes using the map book easy and quick. The book also contains an ‘Explore Delhi’ section giving a glimpse of the rich heritage of Delhi.
