July 2002 Earth Resource Mapping has announced the release of the ERDAS ViewFinder® 2.1 plug-in. This practical plug-in offers users greater functionality within the ERDAS® environment by adding support for .ecw, ECWP, .ers and .alg image formats.
The ERDAS ViewFinder® plug-in features include:
- Ability to view .ecw imagery
- Ability to view remote ECW imagery via ECWP from an Image Web Server
- Ability to view ER Mapper .alg and .ers format
