DJ&A, a multidisciplinary engineering, surveying, environmental, and planning firm based in Missoula, Montana, and Woodland Solutions Group, LLC (WSG), a provider of geospatial services and software based in Woodland Park, Colorado, announced their merger.

This strategic alliance positions both companies at the forefront of innovation in the geospatial and engineering industries and strengthens their ability to provide comprehensive inventory management solutions to their clients. The merged entity aims to deliver a full suite of end-to-end solutions that address the evolving needs of clients in today’s ever-changing asset management landscape.

Under this merger, finalized on July 3, 2023, WSG will continue to operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of DJ&A under its current name, with the current president, Jim Schriever, remaining in his leadership position. All current WSG employees will remain in their positions.

โ€œThis merger is an exciting milestone for both DJ&A and WSG,โ€ said Christopher Anderson, Chairman and CEO of DJ&A. โ€œWe are continuously looking for ways to provide a more rewarding work experience for our people while discovering ways to better serve our clients. This merger will immediately add new depth to our geospatial capabilities and will allow us to more readily respond to a growing demand for asset inventory data collection, management, and analysis services. We are pleased to welcome WSG to the DJ&A family and look forward to creating long-term value through this merger for both teams and our clients.โ€

The merger is expected to bring forth a range of benefits for their clients, including enabling enhanced project planning, monitoring, and data analysis services. Their combined advanced geospatial and engineering solutions will provide better real-time insights, optimize decision-making processes, and facilitate efficient asset management across project lifecycles.

โ€œAny successful company receives their fair share of acquisition or merger offers and must carefully evaluate whether or not to accept. Merging with DJ&A was a clear fit to help Woodland Solutions Group accelerate our growth strategy and provide increased value to our rapidly expanding team and customer base,โ€ said Jim Schriever, founder and president of WSG.
