Department 13 is set to present their eco-system of autonomous drone solutions, drone detection and counter-drone systems to the national defense industry over an industry elite three-day event.

The exhibition will enable Department 13 to showcase their advanced technology and services developed to assist the Defense Forces and emergency responders of Australia and the Indo-Asia Pacific region, and to provide potential new-age autonomous workforce that improves in-field and on-site operations.

Chief executive Lee Croft said they’re excited to attend Land Forces with their industry partners and the opportunity to engage with defense industries on such a global scale – with an emphasis on supplying state-of-the-art autonomous drone solutions.

“Department 13 has always been a leader in transforming business operations and the opportunity to showcase our technologies at such a prestigious expo is another step in the right direction for Department 13. We’ll be showing the defense industry how they can transform the way they operate, and be smarter and faster,” Croft said.

“The expo will benefit the Australian defense sector and has the potential to impact the way the defense industry operates – we’re a part of that, and only want to see everyone excel with the best and most reliable options available” said Croft.

Department 13 will showcase a suite of drone intelligence solutions including counter-drone technology MESMER, DIAL sensor technology, and cloud-based drone management and situational awareness software Atlas. Nightingale Security’s highly intelligent autonomous security solution Blackbird drone will also be on display.

The collaborative effort will uplift Department 13 and its aligned partners already extensive capabilities, presenting Nightingale’s autonomous drone solutions into the defense space, and work together with partners and clients to automate a magnitude of industries.

Land Forces will enable defense and industry sectors to engage on Australia’s land defense capabilities and showcase manufacturers, systems integrators and logistics specialists operating across the full spectrum of land warfare.
