Definiens has launched a Professional Services Division to train and support the users of eCognition software. The Professional Services division is lead by Dr. Ursula C. Benz. Together with her team she will assist the users of eCognition in optimising the analysis capabilities of the software: Professional Services will help to customize and integrate eCognition into the customers’ workflows. Dr. Benz joined Definiens in October 2000 after nine years at the German Aerospace Center.
“We have launched Professional Services to coordinate our consulting projects and extend customer service”, said Gunter Schreiner, Vice President of Definiens. “Professional Services enables Definiens Imaging to gain access to large projects. The new division will contribute considerably to the results of Definiens Imaging.”
Current work of Professional Services include projects for the European Union, European Space Agency (ESA), Ministry of Sustainable Resource Management British Columbia together with Silvatech Consulting Ltd., Radarsat International, MELCO Japan, Infoterra and more.
