DALSA Corporation of Canada announced that it has received an order from Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions for high performance CCD image sensor chips. The order, worth $2.2 million, will be delivered over the next 15 months.
Intergraph will use the DALSA chips in its Z/I Imaging Digital Mapping Camera. The large format digital aerial camera system incorporates multiple 7k x 4k (28 million pixels) DALSA CCD image sensor chips, allowing it to capture highly detailed imagery with proven ground resolutions as small as 1 1/2 inches per pixel. Intergraph sells the camera to photogrammetry organizations worldwide for planning, engineering, surveying and mapping.
