The US-based Perception Health has launched an enhanced version of its map “COVID-19 Cases in US Counties.” This interactive map is based upon the informations related to the number of confirmed cases and deaths due to the COVID-19 in the US. The latest version of the map consists of a number of tests conducted , patients who are hospitalised or recored from the pandemic, and a number of cases per 1,000 population in the US.Each part of the country has been given a color, which has been based affected number in the selected categories.
Tod Fetherling, CEO of Perception Health says, “”Our map and its data amalgamation show that rural America is not immune to the coronavirus.”
“In fact, quite the opposite can be seen. Take for example Blaine County in Idaho, which has a population of only 21,551. The county recently reported 454 COVID-19 cases, which works out to 21.07 cases per 1,000 population. That’s a higher ratio than any of the boroughs in New York City,” he added.
The CARE platform of the Perception Health helps in analysing medical claims data in order to predict what types of patients are moving towards over 30 disease states, and then work on health care facilities for patients, will help to fight the COVID-19 cases in the US.
“Soon you will also be able to see our data projections for the number of cases for the US and each state,” Fetherling said.
