China: CHC Navigation, a Shanghai-based GPS/GNSS solutions company, has announced the availability of its 120-channel GPS+GLONASS handheld receiver LT400HS. The device offers sub-metre SBAS positioning to centimetre accuracy in RTK networks.
LT400HS offers industry standard NMEA output. It has a built-in GSM/GPRS phone with data transmission, bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The device also has a built-in 5 megapixel autofocus camera to capture assets information. CHC Navigation will make LT400HS series available in September through its distribution channel worldwide. The device could be used by earth moving and landscape contractors, real estate developers, construction SMEs, utilities mapping companies.
