UK: Capscan, a supplier of UK and international address management solutions and data integrity services, has launched the new enhanced version of its Nearcode for commercial and public sector contact centers.
The new Web-based GIS delivers a unique software tool for the agent desktop. Thanks to the new version, the agents can quickly respond to customer enquiries regarding the locations of specific outlets and services.
It is easy to use the Nearcode on the desktop and all the agent has to do is use a simple search box to enter a postcode, partial postcode, place name or grid reference. Once they enter the information, a sorted list of the nearest relevant locations is rapidly returned and can be relayed to the customer. There are other benefits as well, as the agents can also specify the number of outlets within a certain radius, and listing all of the locations in or around a designated area.
