Maine, USA, 13 April 2007: Blue Marble Geographics, a developer and provider of geographic software products announced that it has joined ESRI’s Business Partner Program. Blue Marble Geographics will develop applications to enhance and expand the geodetic conversion tools of ArcGIS and other ESRI products as well as resell ArcWeb Services. In support of this, Blue Marble intends to provide geodetic consulting and training services for ESRI users in the Oil and Gas, Government, Surveying and Software industries.
Blue Marble’s coordinate conversion technology is used worldwide by GIS analysts at software companies, universities, oil and gas companies, civil engineering, surveying, technology, enterprise GIS groups, government and military organizations. The company will be providing extensions for ESRI software that will create flexible, powerful geodetic conversion tools. Blue Marble also plans to create a new offering of their popular applied geodesy-training program for ArcGIS.
