Alaska, USA, 23 May 2007: Bayer Technology Services GmbH (BTS) Germany has signed a Global Alliance Agreement with Intergraph to use Intergraph’s design and operations software suite for its chemical and pharmaceutical plants worldwide.
BTS is a provider of integrated solutions for chemical and pharmaceutical plants through engineering and construction. Intergraph’s SmartPlant Enterprise suite will provide BTS with interoperable, modular applications to engineer, procure, construct, operate and maintain plants from design to decommissioning.
“The Global Alliance Agreement is a milestone in the years of collaboration between BTS and Intergraph. We have used Intergraph solutions previously and the GAA now gives us the necessary flexibility to quickly meet our needs for design projects and make them available globally,” said Dr. Ralf Sick-Sonntag, head of engineering and senior vice president of Bayer Technology Services.
