Baral Geohaus-Consulting AG of Germany has announced the additon of FME third-party plug-in support for the data formats BGrund, WLDGE, CARD and ADA/GATE. The addition of these formats will enable FME users to handle cadastral information, BGrund, CARD and GATE store spatial information, whereas WLDGE and ADA store attribute information (for example, parcel owners).
The plug-ins combined with the powerful capabilities of FME will enable users to merge the separated geometric and attribute data and store it as a more common format. The ability to migrate file-based formats into up-to-date databases and check the quality of the source data for an ALKIS migration were the primary triggers for developing the plug-ins.
