US: Avineon, an information technology, geospatial, and engineering support services provider, has been awarded IT staff augmentation contracts by Prince William County and Fairfax County in northern Virginia. Under both contracts, Avineon will provide staff augmentation services, including support for Web, geographic information system (GIS), Microsoft SharePoint, database reporting, and general business applications as well as development of mobile device applications. The contract also allows any U.S. county or local government office to obtain Avineon services at the same prices negotiated by Fairfax County without engaging in a lengthy bidding and contracting process.
