< 1 Minute Read

22 March 2007: Autodesk released AutoCAD 2008, the latest version of its widely used CAD software. AutoCAD LT 2008 is also available now. Previously in beta development, Autodesk Impression ($495) was also launched this week.

Impression enables users to create presentation-ready graphics directly from DWG and DWF files. Incorporating feedback from more than 30,000 Autodesk Labs beta testers, Autodesk Impression is the first product to graduate from Autodesk Labs, the company reports.

All three products were announced in February but not officially released until this week. For more details about these products and other Autodesk releases slated for this spring, see the Cadalyst article, “New Autodesk Maxim: Experience it Before it’s Real.”
