Australia to review space act

< 1 Minute Read

Australia: The government of Australia will be reviewing the Space Activities Act of 1998 to check whether the legislation offers a harmonizing regulatory environment to help Australian companies with space-related capabilities to tap into global supply chains. In addition to that, the review will also examine the Space Activities Regulations 2001 to ensure that the country meets its international obligations for the use of space. The consultation process will end in November.
