Canada: Skybox Imaging has appointed Canadian remote sensing company Auracle Geospatial Science as its reseller. Auracle will distribute Skybox’s high-resolution imagery, videos and analytics within the Canadian market.
Skybox Imaging recently released imagery from its SkySat-2 satellite and was also in news after Google offered $500 million to acquire the company. Skybox has also launched two of its 24 planned microsatellites that capture sub-meter imagery and full motion commercial video for an on-demand view of the world.
Matt Wood, Skybox Senior Director of Enterprise Solutions said, “We see great potential in combining AGS’s technical expertise with timely, sub-meter Skybox imagery and video to create compelling monitoring and assessment solutions for a variety of industries throughout Canada.”
