Aspectum and Planet enter into a strategic partnership

Planet and Aspectum have recently announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership to supply businesses turnkey change and object detection projects to support satellite imagery.

The partnership between Aspectum and Planet will provide full reports on rich geospatial data and satellite imagery to organizations. All a client will need to do is request a report on any object in any location. Combining satellite data from Planet and therefore the processing capabilities from EOS, consumers will get the needed data in their account with visualization, widgets, and insights derived from the detected changes. Additionally, Aspectum will enrich the post-processing analytics with location intelligence like calculating the efficient area of interest (AOI) to estimate the required volume of satellite data.

PRNewswire quoted Planet’s EMEA Channels Director Jason Jones as saying that they’re pleased to have Aspectum join Planet’s dynamic partner network and that they anticipate to providing data rich imagery together to assist inform client decisions when they need it.
