US: Google has finally updated its iOS Maps app to include Apple Watch functionality. However, the first release comes with bare fundamentals. The app will display directions to your destination without showing you the whole map, which anyway wouldn't have been possible because of the small screen size of the watch. And while Apple Maps vibrates the watch differently for users who are walking, Google doesn't have any similar feature yet. On an upside, Google says you can now call businesses or get directions "directly from a list of places."
