UK: The Association for Geographic Information (AGI) has decided to celebrate its 25th anniversary with a rebranding exercise. The association in its statement to the press said, “The current logo has served its purpose but has become diluted through reuse which has reduced its effectiveness. The new brand will allow a tightening of this identity giving consistency across our communications.”

In addition, the association also announced the launch of the Geo: Big 5 event series, and the commissioning of a new website. The association said that the new brand would also enable different groups of AGI to maintain their separate identities whilst retaining overall consistency.
